For the past 37 years I have served as the Lead Pastor of our church. In our fellowship, I am commissioned as urban missionary which means that I am credentialed as a church planter by the US missions Dept of the Assemblies of God. In addition, I organized a networking resource group, Hope4Philly. This network provides outreach ministries throughout the city with supportive relationships and assistance in identifying ministry resources.
My wife Rosilyn and I have been married for 44 years. Rosilyn has recently retired from 37 yrs as a psychiatrist specializing in addiction. We have one adult daughter and one granddaughter. Our favorite activities are cooking, reading, and relaxing at the beach.
Pastor and I have been married for 45years. We have one daughter and one granddaughter. After graduating from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, I completed medical training at Wake Forest Medical School. As a psychiatrist for over 35yrs, I have worked tirelessly to support the visionary work of myhusband. Together, we have developed strategies and provided assistance to demonstrate God’s love for His people.
RAY PERRY II
I have volunteered as a Resource Assistant at our church for 31 years. After a life saving physical healing, i've decided to advocate for our fellowship and to facilitate and interact with business leaders, city and state officials. I also assist with Hope 4 Philly network fundraising, and supervise Community Service volunteers. I have been married to my wife Karen for 20 years. For relaxation, we love to go for walks, drink coffee and shop at Walmart.
I supervise the food ministry and children’s meals at Margaret St. I came to Faith Assembly of God 25 years ago. My greatest joy comes as I feed the children in the meals program and assist families in need through the food ministry. Having raised my family as a single mother, I am grateful for 4 wonderful adult children. I am the proud grandmother 8 grand-children. My delight is cooking and being a hostess for friends and family.
My mother brought me to Faith Assembly of God as a teen 16 years ago. I was rebellious and refused to listen. After being shot twice while in the street life, I turned to God 8 years ago. I serve the fellowship by coordinating participants in the Sunday services. I also supervise Youth Church, the Van Ministry, and weekend and evening food donations. I have been married to my wife Ieshia for 7 years we have 2 children. My hobby is being current in my knowledge of local and national current events. As a family we enjoy going to the park, eating out, and vacationing.
Ministry Maintenance Supervisor
For the past 14years, I have supervised the Ministry Maintenance. As an electrical contractor, I have assisted with both the church and outdoor evangelism needs. I love to sing with the Men’s Worship team and participate in the Men’s fellowship. My wife, Lucille, and I have been together for 33 years. However we have been married for 14 years. Our passion is memorizing the bible and listening worship music. We look forward to times of relaxing with our adult children and participating in the care of our grandchildren.
I transitioned to Faith Assembly of God via the Hope4Philly network in 2018. For the past 40 plus years, I have worked in the areas of intercession, bereavement, children's ministry, preaching, and pastoral support. Currently, I lead the Sunday prayer. In addition, I assist Pastor Smith in sharing his vision for food ministry with local churches and nonprofits Due to losing members of my family to cancer and violence, the Lord has sent me to grieving families. I spend Sunday afternoons with my adult children and 13 grandchildren. When not in ministry, I love shopping for fashionable clothes and vendoring at flea markets.
